If she has mentioned any relative?s name, then call them up and check out the relation. Even after all the information given by the candidate tallies with your findings, you must go by your instinct. You should hire her only if you are totally comfortable with her and feel that you can trust her. If you feel the slightest doubt or apprehension, then don?t hire her. Not only is it important for you to be comfortable, you should ensure that your children feel at ease with her. It is pointless to hire someone who is probably perfect as a nanny, but is someone with whom your children have absolutely no rapport. Hiring someone who is not only suitably qualified and trustworthy, but also shares a mutually comfortable relationship with your children is the winning combination that guarantees you peace of mind.
